   Afghans with Style is a crochet book by Leisure ArtsAfghans with Style from Leisure Arts presents six beautiful throws by Melissa Leapman featuring three techniques (Aran, Fair Isle, and Mosaic). The Aran designs, Shannonbrae and Gallinmore, are richly textured in Post Stitches and Popcorns. Interlocked Mosaic and Hearthside Mosaic are two-color designs in which only one color is used per row; ch-2 spaces create place holders for later stitches of the other color. Nordic Snowflake and Scandinavian are Fair Isle patterns, in which simple charts are followed and only two colors are used in each row; the unused color is worked over, weaving it into the fabric.
